“We are a family of five who enjoyed a wonderfully comfortable stay at Peter and Tom’s exquisite cottage. They truly exemplify what it means to be exceptional hosts—helpful, kind, and accommodating in every way. This is undoubtedly one of the finest Airbnb experiences we have ever had.The cottage is thoughtfully stocked with everything one could need, from a kitchen brimming with delightful treats and fresh eggs from the garden, to cupboards filled with games suitable for all ages, from infants to centenarians. The spacious bedrooms are adorned with beautiful linens, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Every detail has been meticulously attended to, even including a charming Christmas tree and decorations that added an extra touch of coziness during the holiday season.
Overall, I would rate our experience a perfect 10 out of 10—truly embodying the essence of what an Airbnb should be. Thank you both for your hospitality; we look forward to visiting again in warmer weather to enjoy the pool“

“Peter and Tom, and of course Walter and Mary were fantastic hosts, we couldn’t have asked for more.
A friendly welcome and enjoyed seeing them on the occasion around the property but were very happy to leave us to enjoy our stay.
Lovely fresh eggs and condiments for us on arrival which was a lovely touch.
The whole estate and accomodation was beautiful, and even made the perfect venue for our friends to get engaged in the beautiful gardens!!

“Staying at Peter and Tom’s french cottage was an absolute delight. They have thought of everything you might need or want (pool inflatables, kitchen utensils, usb adapters, local recommendations etc!!) and their place is absolutely beautiful. We will be back one day in the future. Added bonus of chickens (fresh eggs!) and two lovely poodles.!”

“Probably the best holiday rental I’ve utilised in terms of the home from home feel and what the hosts provide for comfort and ease. Examples are games, kitchen gear, eggs and many other food essentials, pool inflatables, the list is long. The ambiance is relaxed. Peter and Tom were, as stated by many, very attentive without being in the least intrusive. For those with small children it feels safe as it’s well away from any road and there’s space to play with table tennis gear and tennis racquets, football, etc available. Our 19 month old loved the space and interacting with the friendly chickens and dogs. The cot provided was great. Recommended.”

“A rare find. Such a beautifully presented home, inside & out and so well situated for access to nearby towns and cities. So many amenities available, but just the beautiful maintained gardens enough to satisfy us. I didn’t get a chance to cook, which I love to do, but the kitchen was well equipped, which many aren’t. Hosts Peter and Tom couldn’t have been more helpful or obliging. at making us feel at home. We’ll be back.”

“The house is located in a beautiful region of France, there is plenty to do and explore in the area. The ancient yet restored cottage and the gardens make a wonderful holiday spot. “For a truly relaxing break, you really can’t go wrong with a stay at the fabulous En Gineste. We were 2 older and 4 young adults and plenty to keep everyone happy – tennis, ping pong, pool time, boules or simply relaxing with a good book at one of the many secluded spots around the garden. The cottage was extremely comfortable with everything you could want. Lots of animal company too with the fabulous Mary and Walter (dogs) and Angie (chicken). Well placed for day trips to Carcassonne, Toulouse, Albi and closer to home we found Sorèze a beautiful spot. Peter and Tom have created a wonderful retreat and were delightful hosts ensuring we had a great stay. We hope to return again sometime.”

“Peter and Tom were a joy to meet. Very friendly and helpful while, at the same time, careful to provide full privacy if not approached. Two of the nicest hosts we’ve met. The Gite is beautifully thought out, cosy and comfortable. The grounds are huge – a lovely walk without even leaving the property. Plenty of space to park. All facilities in top condition. Some nice starter extras received on arrival – much appreciated. The big pool and full-sized Tennis court as well as BBQ and Table-Tennis table provided plenty of on-site entertainment. Tranquility, beautiful surroundings, charming hosts. We hope to return soon. :)”

“Definitely one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever been. I invited my sister and her husband to spend Christmas together there, we were all more than happy. The house is a gem, cozy, lovely decorated, the kitchen equipment of unique completeness. Living in the center of a big city I especially enjoyed the quietness and amazing darkness of the nights. The property is pretty romantic, the surrounding landscapes touch your soul, and there is so much to discover in wonderful medieval cities around. Finally, the hospitality of Peter and Tom can’t be topped. They are the cherries on the ice cream. My stay was 9 days, finally I didn’t like to leave. 😊”

“Six stars out of five! Nothing but praise for this splendid and enchanted cottage, and its wonderfully welcoming hosts, Peter and Tom. (Even their four-legged companions, Mary and Walter made us feel at home.) The guest cottage is done up with TLC, and a great attention to detail: excellent beds with crisp cotton sheets, a well-appointed kitchen, a stack of logs waiting beside the wood-burning stove (along with a state-of-the art heating/air conditioning system with individual controls in each room). We were there in winter (for Christmas), and there was even a decorated tree waiting for us when we arrived. The extensive gardens are magic, I half-expected to see a white rabbit run by while glancing at its pocket-watch… We’re already plotting our return!”

A lovely gîte, so well decorated and so well equipped (nothing is missing), with this beautiful garden, the chateau covered by wisteria, the pool, the tennis court, the mini football field, etc., and such lovely hosts.
